“Heavenly Bodies”

“ WE ARE MADE OF STAR STUFF. Acknowledge and revere the infinite majesty of the universe, for we are wrought of the very fabric of the cosmos. Denial of the interconnectedness of all existence is what has caused humanity to lose sight of the Godliness within ALL things, particularly ourselves, our fellow life forms with whom we share this planet, as well as the very Earth itself.”

This is the basis for my project “Heavenly Bodies,” to reconnect the human form with the celestial wonders that we are akin to. We as a race have often looked to the sky in wonder and contemplation. In older days we named the stars after our gods and looked skyward with our prayers. What I have sought to do is bring empowerment back to mankind, to re-acknowledge the sometimes forgotten fact that we are interconnected with the cosmos and that all life is godlike and has the power to create or destroy.
